In some interesting research done a few years ago, a study conducted by Dr. Ken Kovach indicated that often the criteria Managers thought would motivate their people was not those the employee would choose.

Can you be serious about fun at work?

For many years now, the therapeutic effect of humour and laughter in assisting people to recover from illness has been well researched and validated.  A great case study is the ‘Patch Adams’ portrayal by Robin Williams in the film about the Doctor’s works with sick children.
